A listing of job openings in UCC churches throughout the country is published in the UCC Musicians News and updated bimonthly for each issue. The newsletter is emailed to the membership of UCCMA. Listings are free and must be submitted directly to Flora Major.

John Stansell, past president, is available to churches and clergy for consultation on searching for and hiring church musicians, maintaining healthy and productive working relationships and troubleshooting problems.

 Who can become a member?

 

Our members come from many different denominations where they are musicians, clergy and interested lay people. We encourage all those with an interest in their church’s music or with a more formal role in music programs to join our organization.

 

The UCC Musicians Association was founded 16 years ago by a group of UCC Musicians from the Northeast to provide mutual support for music ministry in UCC churches. While we are very proud of our roots in the United Church of Christ, we recognize that the need for a grass roots, member supported organization focused on music in church settings transcends denomination and formal role.

 

 How to become a member

 

Please fill out and mail your choice of membership forms below along with a check in the amount of $45 for one year or $80 for two years made payable to UCCMA to the following address. You will receive the latest newsletter and the next publication of our journal. Our membership year runs from July 1 to June 30.
